Anti-gay church loses in funeral protesters case

Hello on this Thursday, the first day of November 2007. I'm Kristin people with a UPI Headline Update. An anti-gay church has been ordered by a federal jury to pay nearly 11 million dollars. The money was awarded to a father of a Marine whose funeral was yesterday by the members of Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas picket line. Church members were found in this funeral signs and chanting derogatory slogans hold. They have killed dozens of funerals of soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, pickets,claims that God punishes the United States because of its tolerance for homosexuality. The family sued the church for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Lawyers for the church argue that funerals public and the First Amendment protects all points of view. Both Senator Hillary Clinton and former Senator John Edwards have important endorsements Union for their presidential candidates picked running. Clinton received a nod from the American Federation ofState, district and commune level employees. Note that Union was one of the most popular search from the Democratic presidential candidates. John Edwards took the official support of the Service Employee's International Union chapter in New Hampshire Granite. The former senator had the endorsement in a very close vote on Senator Barack Obama. A top GOP senator warns that Michael Mukasey's nomination for attorney general in danger.
